Kaori Kawamura was a popular rock/pop singer who debuted at 17 yrs old in 1988 with the single, "Zoo."
In 2004, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been bravely battling it for years. she was also an anti-breast cancer activist. She died on Tuesday at a hospital in Tokyo at the age of 38.
