Se7en's US career ends - Plans to release album in Korea

Sunday, August 9, 2009

Last month it was revealed that after debuting in the US, YG Entertainment planned to halt Se7en's career in America, turning down major deals in the US market so that he can go back and promote in Asia.

Singer Se7en will be back releasing a new album in Korea after 3 years.

Se7en, who has recently started working on his American music market advance in 2006 and has been preparing for his debut in America is back in Korea, resuming his promotional activities and has announced the release of his upcoming album. Also, there are plans for him to promote in Japan. This is definitely good news for Korean and Japanese fans who have been waiting for his comeback, but not for us (American fans).

A YG Entertainment representative said, "We have decided that Se7en will release a new album this year. The album will be released simultaneously in Korea and Japan and he will also be doing promotions."

The representative added, "We are not killing Se7en's US plans, instead we are taking our time to bring Se7en back to the US later."
